Our mission is to offer children a family environment where they feel safe, settled and relaxed – giving them more stability. We offer understanding, encouragement and support, from carers who genuinely care, and are trained to be professional and non-judgemental.
On paper we offer placements in our homes for children upto the age of 11. But we offer so much more than that.
We don't just care for our children, we care about them too, and their wellbeing. We treat everyone as an individual, and find the best ways to inspire them and help them be best they can – with all the tools they need to succeed.
All staff work hard to provide stability, security and appropriate boundaries, allowing children to thrive through feeling safe in their own environment.
We encourage children to feel part of the 'family' and to develop independence by chipping in on the daily running of the house.

Birch Cottage is a large converted barn, set in 4 acres of land, located within a primarily rural setting, near the small town of Carnforth.
