Vic’s experience includes working with young people with Emotional and behaviour issues, those that have experienced trauma, Autism, ADHD and also complex needs within residential care and educational settings.

Birch Cottage
Birch Cottage is a large converted barn, set in 4 acres of land, located within a rural setting. Our nearest town is the small town of Carnforth, situated 5 miles away. The perfect place to care for up to 3 young people.
Inside you’ll find a large farmhouse kitchen with a centre island and large dining table where the children enjoy meal times with staff. Or relax in our huge living room – the perfect place for unwinding and watching TV. Or there’s also a well-equipped games room with a pool table / table tennis table and lots of activities to keep young minds entertained.
We’re lucky to have a private education room, proudly displaying young people’s work – but you can often find learning happening all over the house – especially at the kitchen table.
We have three bedrooms for young people and two staff offices, with staff sleeping facilities.
For children who need support, Birch cottage is the perfect home.
