Our Beliefs

The welfare of the Children & Young People in our care is our number one priority. Our residential childrens care homes are there to make a difference to the lives of the Children & Young People we care for.

Children & Young People who come to stay are placed in an environment that offers them the opportunity to be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution as well as achieving economic wellbeing. The whole staff team working with the young people will have the skills and abilities to help support and mentor them through the behaviours that others fail to understand.

Each young person has the right to be consulted about the decisions being made about their future and where possible their feelings are taken into consideration. We try and set a goal with each young person for something they want to achieve in their time with us.

Each young person is valued and shown respect and courtesy from our staff team who will give them every encouragement and support in reaching their full potential.
We also believe in staff development. We believe that investing in our staff is a crucial part in making ABC Care what it is. During regular staff supervisions we set goals and expectations, we celebrate success and identify areas of development. We expect all staff to be bold and honest and to help improve our processes. We share a common goal with our staff, which is to place the young person at the heart of what we do.

We believe in full transparency. We firmly believe authorities have a right to check on the welfare of a young person without the boundaries of social calendars, or schedules. The information we hold is accessible via password protected & encrypted measures on our website. This means we can offer you the ability to fully interact with us and the young person remotely 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This is just one of the steps we take to differentiate ourselves.

We're a family run company, we have no venture capitalists, no teams of administrators & no 'red tape'. Our directors are father & son team Chris Kennedy. We have a dedication to quality. We'll often work directly with the young people to gather their thoughts & ideas on where we can improve.
